Freshly back from our ATV rainforest adventure Sue Roper asked if I wanted to suit up and go tend her beehive with her.
Um. ABSOLUTELY YES!!!!
Ethan stood a little further off and took pictures. I thought it was amazing to feel secure in my suit and be right there with the beautiful bees.
The combs have a cap of wax – Sue handed us a spoon and said, “dig in.”
Not sure I’ve had anything richer than honey straight from the comb. Heaven.
