Ansel Adams for his amazing photography. Georgia O'Keefe for her macro art--turns out that is how I sketch. The impressionists for the imprecision that is so wonderful. Surat for pointillism--color theory at its finest. The unnamed artist who designed the stained glass at Sainte Chappelle in Paris--so many images, such soaring majesty! And you Lyric for reminding me that not everything has to be a masterpiece but art is important so I should do art often.

My favorite master artist is August Macke from the "Blauer Reiter" artist group in the time before World War I. They started the cubism in art. I specially love his water colour paintings from Tunisia.
