Enjoying seeing this progress. I own that same stencil design in the large size – I think it is the first one I ever purchased and I still love it.

It is on a painted and stretched canvas…. which I suppose is a kind of fabric. I think the modeling paste would stick to fabric but I don’t think it would be flexible and definitely not sewable. I’m certainly having fun playing with it though.

I’ve always wanted to see how to use molding paste on fabric. Please keep posting on the progress of this piece. I have some samples of different kinds of pastes and mediums from demonstrations I attended and need to use them before they dry up. Thanks for showing it so far.

Just finished listening to you talk to Pat Sloan on Quilting Radio. You have to be one of the most inspirational quilters out there! Love your book, it really made me start to look at quilts differently. I’m fascinated with what you’re doing to your canvas too, great idea with the stencil.
