They started out an olive green. One year while traveling I decided I wanted to wear them with a different outfit and since I happened to have black textile paint in my hand – they became black.

Later still – I got a little wild with the paint and now I'm on a roll! I've got two more painted pair in my Etsy shop. Take a look!
