I have yet to do this one. However I am working on the neutral lesson today. I hope to incorporate Melanie Testa's free motion grid, masking and tulle overlay. I also took a drawing from my sketchbook from Art Quilt Workshop Chapter 3 Art as Inspiration, using a brass sculpture music box my mother gave me an abstract seagull (at least to my eyes). I've done it in a trio for my wings series. I am thinking about the way people used the shapes here as I'm piecing these today. It is inspirational. Lyric, they picked a great book to use! I'm working through it slowly but enjoying it immensely!
